He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Avery Whittington; his son Tommy Whittington (Glenda) of Judsonia, AR; his siblings, Sheila Akers of Quitman, TX, Patricia Queen (Eddie) of Locust Grove, AR, Robert Whittington of Ponchatoula, LA, Rose Marie (Daniel) of Cleveland, TN and Peggy Sterling (Melvin) of Ponchatoula, LA; and his grandchildren, Jerrod Whittington, Joel Whittington, Jason Whittington, Jeffrey Whittington, Thadd Brooks, Ralena McQuire, Tabitha Rendon, Jessica Burrow and Julie Woodard. He is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren and other extended family members and many, many friends.
