We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2023, at the age of 96, Ila Fetzer (Batesville, Arkansas), born in Charlotte, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd R. Jernigan and Inez Thompson Jernigan; her husband Ralph S. Fetzer, Sr.; her brothers, William M. Jernigan and Floyd Russell Jernigan; her son-in-law Thomas Vernon Tomerlin, Jr.; and her grandson Thomas Vernon Tomerlin, III.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Tomerlin of Cummin, Georgia, Dortha Thomas (Richard) of Stanton, Patricia Cain (Phil) of Springfield and Ralph Fetzer, Jr. of Dade City, Florida; her brother John R Jernigan of Killeen, Texas; and her grandchildren, Judi Johnston, Hank Thomas (Mandy), Melissa Fowler (Jason), Natasha Gugaria (BK), Heather Hutchings and Sean Fetzer (Michelle). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; as well as many special nieces and nephews.
