With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hoy Lee Melton of Batesville, Arkansas, who passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aulden Melton and Alta Melton (Glenn); his wife Mary Melton; and his siblings, Roy Melton and Sheila Anderson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Winningham (Terry) of Batesville and Donna Winn (Eddie) of Southside; his sisters, Patsy Nelson (Barry) of Searcy and Jackie Reynolds (Sammy) of Sandtown; his granddaughters, Candace Carnett Dickey (Joey) of Batesville and Susan Fike (Anthony) of Southside; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa Fike and Madison Fike. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service (546 Harrison St, Batesville, AR 72501). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
