It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Allen Leech (Batesville, Arkansas), born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on June 23, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irad Leech and Clara Leech; his brothers, John, Harold, Leonard and Gill Leech; and his son Keith Allen Leech.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Liles Leech; his daughter Melinda Church (Rick); his grandchildren, Crystal Wojcik (Michael), Courtney Finley (Scott), Matthew Church (Chelsey), Dustin Church (Jillian) and Travis Church (Jamie); and his sister Mildred Palmer. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was a devout Christian and the family asks that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, 1105 Shamrock Lane, Sulphur Rock, AR 72579.
