We bid farewell to Grace Melton of Batesville, Arkansas, born in Alapaha, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 1, 2024 at the age of 89. Grace touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, Grace is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Grace's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Roberts and Rebecca Roberts; her husband Von Melton; and her son Anthony Melton. She is survived by: her children, Cliff Melton of Batesville and Stacy Waugh. She is also survived by five grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service (546 Harrison St, Batesville, AR 72501). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
