She was predeceased by: her parents, James Elms and Mildred Elms; her husband Robert Carey; and her siblings, Doris House, Granville Elms and Jimmy Elms.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Carey (Sandy) of Jonesboro, Kathy Carey and Kim White (Jimmy Smith) of Cave City; her brother Mac Elms (Carolyn) of Pine Bluff; and her grandchildren, Michael Carey (Sheree), Dylan Carey (Raven), Melody Manuel (Cody), Austin Carey (Cobhye), Andrew Carey, Crystal Dings, Monty White III, Amanda Mashburn (Eric), Gerald White, Olivia White, Leland White, Deborah Hames (Jenny) and John Anderson. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
