It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Patterson of Batesville, Arkansas, who passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Newton Franks and Ovella Tate; her husband Melvin Patterson; her daughter Andrea Albert; and her siblings, J. C. Franks, Floyd Franks, Roy Franks, Clyde Franks, Joe Franks, Hazel Elms, Alphea Love, Bessie Horton and Imogene Franks.
She is survived by: her daughter Vonita Luster (Randy) of Rogers, Arkansas; her sister Lois Winningham of Bono, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Desiree Davis of Batesville, Mary Beth Luster of California, Molly Luster of Rogers, Arkansas and Daniel Ballard of Batesville, Arkansas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
