With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Monroe Shaw of Batesville, Arkansas, born in Mansfield, Louisiana, who passed away on February 22, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Thomas Shaw and Violet Annis Childress Shaw; his wife Shirley Ann Charping Shaw; his daughter Melissa Ann Shaw Chapman; and his siblings, Bernerd Shaw, Luther Thomas Shaw, Jr., Goldie Shaw Frazier and Pauline Shaw Olive.
He is survived by: his daughters, Renee Shaw Martin (Dennis) of Batesville and Sharon Shaw Redding Paslay (Elvis) of Floral; and his grandchildren, Alisha Clark (Justin), Jason Redding (Jen), Jeremy Redding (Beth), Shane Martin (Jennie), Sarah Jones, Katie Wiley, Jocelyn Martin, Kristen Martin, Nina Green (Jimmy) and Elvis Wayne Paslay II (Amber). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
