It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dora Etta Manuel Engles Taylor Franks of Batesville, Arkansas, born in Salado, Arkansas, who passed away on June 8, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas and Callie Rosenbaum Manuel; her husbands, Allen Ray Engles of Salado, Eli Jackson Taylor and Gaylon Franks; and her siblings, Cleo Manuel and Frances Manuel Head.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Allen Engles (Coralee) of Magness, Vanita Taylor Cartwright (Roy) of Southside and Gay Taylor Bowling (Jim) of Conway; her nieces and nephews, Lesa Head Perry of Little Rock and Rick Head; her children, Peggy Williams and Roger Franks (Donna); and her grandchildren, Kelli Engles Blackman (Darren), Mark Cartwright, Aaron Cartwright (Robyn), Craig Bowling (Elizabeth), Callie Bowling, Douglas Pierce (April), Jon Pierce (Beth), Ashley Taylor (Ryan) and Natalie Fuller (Rod). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
