With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dollie (Shepherd) Hix of Batesville, Arkansas, who passed away on July 8, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy A. Shepherd and Eula Shepherd (Cain); her husband William Hix; her daughters, Tessie and Teressa; her sons-in-law, George Roach, Curtis Caughron and Bob Hughes; and her siblings, Barney Shepherd and Parlee Cossey.
She is survived by: her children, William Hix, David Hix of Cord, Janetta Hughes of Rogers and Kathy Roach of Cord; her grandchildren, Cindy Sherman, Tracy Grissom, Lois Ward, Shannon Hix, Amie Bristow, Dustin Brashers, Derrick Brashers, Kayla Crawford, Chad Goff, Erika Magar, Kristin Dunivan and Violet Roach; and her sister Bea Turner. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
