She was predeceased by: her stepdaughters, Denise Maples and Renee Montgomery. She is survived by: her husband Paul Maples; and her sons, Timothy Hamlet and Boyce Hamlet. She is also survived by three sisters, Verlene House, Irene Milsap, and Veda Mae Reynolds; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
