It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude Gibson of Batesville, Arkansas, born in Barton, Arkansas, who passed away on March 14, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Raymond Gibson and Gayle Ross Gibson; his wife Zettie Lee Vickers Gibson; and his brother Don Gibson. He is survived by: his children, Randy Gibson (Patsy) of West Memphis, Devora Tappan (David) of Southside and Joetta Walker of Southside; and his brother Cecil Gibson (Brenda) of West Helena. He is also survived by six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
