He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Charlie" Albertis Perkey and Gertrude "Gertie" Alice Lassiter Perkey; his wife Bertha June Treadway Perkey; his son-in-law Robert "Bobby" Craig; and his siblings, Joel James Perkey, Paul Rease Perkey, Charles Veryl Perkey, Billy Don Perkey and Clois Mozell Perkey Ray.
He is survived by: his children, Vondale Wayne Perkey (Janet) of Cave City, Dennis Allan Perkey (Tracy) of Lincoln, Nebraska and Nancy Sue Craig of Jonesboro, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Candace Nicole Ozanich Stracener (Chuck) of Fayetteville, Miranda Rachelle Perkey Scott (R. Matthew) of Padukah, Aaron Taylor Perkey of Lincoln and Alexa Wren Perkey of Lincoln, Nebraska; his great grandchildren, Presley Kate Stracener of Fayetteville, Harrison James Stracener of Fayetteville, Hudson William Stracener of Fayetteville and Griffin Matthew Scott of Paducah, Kentucky; and his sisters, Glenn Perkey Davis of Pleasant Grove, Tommie Perkey Garlin of Batesville, Monnie Jo Perkey England of Cave City and Alice Kay Perkey Milligan of Russellville, Arkansas..
