It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Archie Leonard Jones of Batesville, Arkansas, born in Clarksville, Texas, who passed away on August 15, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Jones and Evie Jones (James); and his wife Mary Lee Jones (Kimmer). He is survived by: his sons, Sammy Jones (Phyllis) of Batesville and Danny Jones (Terri) of Arlington, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Jennifer McMurry, Cristy McKenley, Natalie Yarbro, Erica Daniel and Sarah Gillean; and his sister Ruby Fay Franks of Batesville. He is also survived by nine great-granddaughters and five great-grandsons.
