She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Burdick and Nettie Burdick (McGrew); her husband Freddy F. Franks; her son Duane Franks; and her siblings, Clyott Burdick, Don Burdick, Glenda Burdick, Mildred B. Smith and Wanda B. Hobbs.
She is survived by: her daughter Dawn Franks Harris (John) of Batesville; her daughter-in-law Dr. Caroline Raines Franks of Greensboro; her sister Barbara Burdick Black of China Springs, Texas; and her grandchildren, Manning Franks (Kimmie), Farrelle Franks, Ashlyn Harris and Haidyn Harris. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and special friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at the First Baptist Church of Minden (301 Pennsylvania Ave, Minden, LA 71055).
