He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Alice Jonas (Hunt). He is survived by: his grandmother Clara Pauline Jonas; his wife Adele Jonas (Saunders); his siblings, Juanita Elizabeth, Margaret Elizabeth, Mary Elizabeth and Rowland F. Jonas II; his children, Mary Mildred, Beginning, Maria Elena, Bob, Mary Smith (Richard) of Charleston, Debbie Brown (Jim) of San Marcos and Stephen Jonas of Maranda; his brother Fred Jonas (Cappy) of Hot Springs; and also Deborah Deane. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and fourteen step-grandchildren.
