She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Amos Wood and Lonnie Hickman Wood; her husband Billie Gene Atkins; her daughter Nancy Carol Anderson; and her siblings, Robert A. Wood, Ruth Dunn, Lena Dale Hickman, Patsy Ruth Samuels, Doris Elizabeth Richardson, Willie Mae Jarman and Juanita Fay May.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Atkins, Daryl Atkins and Janice Dunn of Banks, AR.. She is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Frazer's Chapel. A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 4:15 PM at the Sparkman Cemetery.
Memorials preferred The St Jude's Children Hospital or Carti of Arkansas.
