She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Duncan and Mattie Duncan (Rains); her husband Billy Ray Whitener; the father of her children Bobby Cooper; her daughter Tammie Foster (Cooper); and her sisters, Reba Gorchik, Nora Lee Wilson and Betty Harper.
She is survived by: her pet Lennon; her children, Michael Wayne Cooper of Bald Knob and Debbie Cooper Brumley of Monroe, Louisiana; and her grandchildren, Ryan Foster, Travis Foster, Cooper McDonald, Samantha Qualls (Michael) and David Breckenridge (Briana). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
