He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Albert Claggett and Lillian Frances Stobb Claggett; and his sister Sarah Holt. He is survived by: his girlfriend Debbie Mercer; his children, Lynn Corbitt, Luther "Sam" Claggett of Virginia and Missy Mercer of Bradford; and his siblings, Aubrey Claggett, Larry Claggett, Beatrice Claggett-Brice, Charles Claggett and John Claggett. He is also survived by Nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
