He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shirley Anderson Adkins May; his children, Tommy Adkins (Terri) of Batesville, Jeff Adkins (Cindy) of Bald Knob, Melanie Hellums of Mt. Pleasant and Elaine Cullum of Holcumb, Missouri; and his siblings, Bob Adkins of Bald Knob, Dennis Adkins (Jackie) of Judsonia and Ruth Ann Barnett of Bald Knob. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
