He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Auther and Ethel Lee Cloyes (Moody); his wife Mildred Cloyes; his grandson Arron Cloyes; and his brothers, Billy Ray Cloyes and Doug Cloyes.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Cloyes, Rick Cloyes (Trina), Anthony Cloyes (Christy) and Matt Cloyes; his sister Ida Mae Burchfield; and his grandchildren, Nicole Cloyes, John Torres (Nicole), Casey Landis (Brian), Hannah Ellis (Nathan), Jordan Cloyes and Jenny Taylor Cervantes. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
