He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Adolf Strobel Sr. and Thelma Gene Smith; and his siblings, Bobby Strobel, Gordan Smith, Alfred Smith, Tommy Smith and Colleen Freeman.
He is survived by: his children, David Strobel (Heather) and Marcella Pickens (Lance); and his grandchildren, Grace Pickens, Faith Pickens, Braidon Strobel, Breana Strobel, Seth Strobel and Alorah Strobel. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
