He was predeceased by: his parents, Maut Adrian and Josie Lee Taylor (Herman); his wife Earlene Taylor (Cobble); and his son B. H. Taylor Jr.. He is survived by: his son Michael Taylor (Cynthia); his daughter-in-law Connie Taylor; his grandchildren, Bart Taylor III (Jennifer), Jacqueline Taylor Cox (Joseph), Jennifer Taylor Massey (Shawn) and Andrea Taylor Mason (Shawn); his great grandchildren, Hudson Taylor, Hazel Taylor, Keeley Cox, Katee Cox, Taylor Massey, Jackson Massey, Aubree Mason and Parker Mason; and his sisters, Alice Collins of Kansas City and Olivette Stock of Lakeview, Arkansas. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gideons or Russell Missionary Baptist Church.
