She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Gammel and Grace Higgerson Gammel; her husband Denver Hardman; her son Richard Teal; and her siblings, Calvin Gammel, Johnny Gammel, Otis Gammel Jr., Charles "Bo" Gammel, Brenda Gammel and Ruben Gammel.

She is survived by: her children, Terry Hardman, James Hardman (Lisa), Annette Teal, Olan Teal (Diana) and Troy Teal (Melanie). She is also survived by great-grandchildren, extended family members and friends.
