He is survived by: his wife Renona Michelle "Missy" Miller Knox; his children, Amanda Lopez (Jim) of Rowlett, Katie Whitley (Keith) of Cabot and Caleb Knox (Cherish) of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Blake Lopez, Rhett, Bentli, Knox Whitley, Kaydence Costello and Kellan Knox; and his brother William "Bill" Knox (Kathie) of Rogersville. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
