Ruby Viola Griffin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Viola Griffin of Austin, Arkansas, who passed away on March 8, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Stoops and Howard Moseley; her husband Henry Allen Griffin; her brothers, Vernon, Kenneth, Steve, Donald and Harold Moseley; and her great-nephew Cole Griffin Gatley.
She is survived by: her children, Ruby, Bobbie Burks (Tommy Piper), Patrick Griffin (Missy), Shane Griffin and J'Anna Schlessinger (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Travis Wolschlager, Dallas Platt (Courtney), Brody Platt (Kayley) and O'Neal Griffin; her great grandchildren, Roland Wolschlager, Henry, Cache Platt, Finleigh and Penelope Platt; her brother Norman Moseley (JoAnn); and her significant other H. A.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (700 N 2nd St, Cabot, AR 72023). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Sixteenth Section Cemetery.
