Robert Cecil Sanders Obituary
Robert Cecil Sanders, 39 of Austin Arkansas went to be with his Heavenly Father December 3, 2018. Robert was born April 23, 1979, in Jacksonville Arkansas. He was the son of Larry Sanders and the late Clara Jean Sanders, also of Austin. Robert is survived by his wife Kristi Sanders also of Austin, ex-wife Danyel Sanders-Mier of Sheldon Iowa, his children, Tristan Whitmire of Vilonia, Josie Sanders of Jacksonville, Johnna (Dekota) Carpenter of Stuttgart, Jordan Wilkerson (Tyler) Boothe of Chambersburg Pennsylvania, Donovan Sanders and Selena Sanders both of Sheldon Iowa, and Elizabeth Ruthann Davis of Benton, Father-in-law, David Wright of Pansy Arkansas, Mothers-in-law, Mary Lowery of Pine Bluff and Jenny Wright of Pansy. He is also survived by his father, Ronald Larry Sanders of Austin and two grandchildren, Gavynn Boothe and Sawyer Wilkerson both of Chambersburg PA, his grandmother, Martha Rush of Beebe, as well as a sister, a niece, Abby, two nephews Ronnie and AJ along with several members of his extended family.
Robert attended Happy Hollow Full Gospel Church where he actively sang and ministered to others about his love for God. He was employed by Hanke Brothers Siding and Wilson Home Improvement as an installer and did home construction as a hobby job. He was an amazing and devoted husband and father who loved spending time with his grandson, Gavynn. Robert had a love for the outdoors and car audio competitions. His other hobbies included shooting pool, kayaking, talking about bow hunting with Donovan, catfishing with Gavynn, and spending his off days with his wife Kristi watching College and NFL football. His favorite team was the New England Patriots because of his spiritual friendship with the wide receiver Cody Hollister, formerly of Arkansas Razorbacks team member. He was a God fearing, loving, kindhearted, husband and father who can never be forgotten. Robert was preceded in death by a daughter, Hayleigh Sanders of Sherwood, his mother Clara, two grandfathers, and a grandmother.
His unexpected and tragic passing was brought on by doing what he loved most which were helping those in need.
Services will be at Happy Hollow Full Gospel Church at 3:00 pm, Thursday, December 6th, 2018, with Brother Keith Cotton officiating.
