He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Ardell and Molly Rees (Guess); his siblings, Cecil, Coy, Ora (Sonny), Reuben, Alford, Marie, Leva Mae and Laverne; and his great grandchildren, Christopher and Lane Bowles.
He is survived by: his wife Nola Lee Rees (Weatherly); his children, Cynthia Thrift and Barry Rees; his grandchildren, Crystal Crowder (Tammy), Ariel Thrift and Brandon Honey (Michelle); his great grandchildren, Allison Bush (Whitney), Kylie Heerd and Gabe Bowles; and his sister Nora Molder. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and friends.
