He is survived by: his children, Travis Whitson and Kim Whitson; his grandchildren, Sabrina Jones, Travis Whitson Jr., Shelby Whitson and Brooklynn Ward; his great grandchildren, Thomas Jones Jr. and Rias Jones; and his siblings, Jerry Whitson, Donald Whitson and Marie Evans. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
