With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bluford Douglas Elliott of Austin, Arkansas, born in Texarkana, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 12, 2024 at the age of 70. As we bid Bluford Douglas farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Bluford Douglas is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his mother Katherine Elliott (Short). He is survived by: his father Bluford Elliott; his children, Joshua Elliott (Ellie Groden) and Kaitlyn Elliott; his grandsons, Jack Elliott, Sam Elliott and Ames Wilhite; his sisters, Cindy Lanier and Pamela Williams; and the mother of his children Rebecca Elliott. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Texas Elks Lodge (3702 New Boston Rd, Texarkana, TX 75501).
