He was predeceased by: his parent Victor Wallis; his wife Annie Wallis; and his brothers, Dempsey Meredith, Kenneth Meredith, Waverly Meredith, Wallis Meredith and John Meredith.
He is survived by: his parent Mildred Wallis (White); his children, Larry Wallis (Frances) of McCrory and Connie Hawks (Charles) of Augusta; his brothers, Charles Wallis of Conway and Harold Wallis (Sandy) of Augusta; his grandchildren, Jason Hawks of Augusta, Brittney Higgs of Augusta, Melissa Higgs (Kristen) of Bald Knob and Tiffany Meredith of McCrory; his great grandchildren, Logan Neldon, Conner Neldon, Colton Hawks, Annabel Hawks, Maddy Boyce, Bree Boyce and Caleb Easter; his stepgrandchildren, Wendell Martin and Karen Martin; and also Bradley Bevills.
