He was predeceased by: his wife Janice (Smethwick); his parents, Arthur Kissinger and Lou Kissinger; his siblings, Geraldine Branscum (JC) and Arthur Kissinger (Abe); his son-in-law Dale Wood; his brother-in-law Russel Pomtree; his grandson Ronnie Kissinger II; and his grandfather Arthur.
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Dale Kissinger (Linda), Jana Paul Wood and Paul Rudean Kissinger (Buggs); his sister Ernestine Pomtree of Augusta, AR; and his sister-in-law Judy Kissinger of Bald Knob, AR. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great-nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home of Woodruff County (700 N 9th St, Augusta, AR 72006). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Augusta United Methodist Church (301 S 3rd St, Augusta, AR 72006). In 1962, he built Kissinger's Furniture and spent 62 years as its owner, only retiring due to the pandemic, health risks, failing eyesight, and on-the-job injuries.
