With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Johnson (Augusta, Arkansas), who passed away on August 14, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Marcotte and Elvie Marcotte; her sister Ruby Marcotte Hardke; her uncle Carl Tanner; and her nephew Nagel Britt.
She is survived by: her husband Lynville Johnson of Augusta; her daughter Paulette Shields (Danny) of Augusta; her grandchildren, Lesley Norton (Phillip) of McCrory and Sonny Shields (Monica) of Kivilina, Ala; her great grandchildren, Drew Shields of Jonesboro, Eli Norton of McCrory, Brick Shields of Kivilina, Ala and Logan Akers of Jonesboro; and her aunt Vivian Britt of Cabot. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
The family requests that memorials may be made to the Augusta First Baptist Church 310 Pearl St. Augusta, Arkansas 72006.
