She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Peebles and Lillie Smith Peebles; her husband William Maynard Cariker; and her grandson Tommy Hitt. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Butler of Augusta and Charlotte Hitt of Augusta; her grandchildren, Christopher Brown of Augusta and Amy Wallace of Claremore, Oklahoma; her great grandchildren, Wyatt Wallace of Claremore, Oklahome and Tenley Wallace of Claremore, Oklahome; and her siblings, Kathryn Ladd of Augusta and Dallas Peebles of Augusta.
