She was predeceased by: her parents, James Esker and Lucile Whitehead; her husband Elliott Peebles; her son Tommy Peebles; her granddaughter Sarah Grace Baker; and her brothers, Tommy and Neal Whitehead.

She is survived by: her daughters, Becky Pilcher (Ricky) of Augusta and Sharon Oakes of Paducah, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Scott Pilcher (Katie) of Jonesboro, Emily Pilcher of Dallas and Bethany Dunn (Nickolas) of Conway; her great grandchild Lincoln Pilcher of Jonesboro; and her sisters, Kathleen Elam, Bonnie Kearney, Mary Towne and Debbie Ashby.
