He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Murdoch and Mary Rebecca Carter Murdoch; and his nephew Jason Smith. He is survived by: his wife Anna Beth Murdoch; his daughters, Kelly (Jason Hay) and Lindsay (Blake Taylor); his grandchildren, Jackson, Spencer, Addy and Austin; his sister Janis (Don Smith); and his nephew Brian Smith.
