We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2022, at the age of 95, Margaret L. Gateley of Atkins, Arkansas, born in Union, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert C. Thomas and Lura Oldham Thomas. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Blake Thomas Smith, Robert Shoptaw Jr., Kina Hagar (Gary), Annette Legako (Andy), David Shoptaw and Carol Anne Braswell (Matt); her former spouse Hersel Shoptaw; her children, Robert L Shoptaw (Lisa) and Ann Cline; and her husband James Gateley.
Due to Covid concerns, a private memorial service and burial will be held for the immediate family with arrangements by Lemley Funeral Home in Atkins with Rev. David Bishop officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association, 909 W. 2nd St., Little Rock, AR 72202.
