It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lola Mae Childress of Atkins, Arkansas, born in Exeter, California, who passed away on April 14, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Hinkston and Mary Lois Haynes Hinkston; her husband Mervin "Mutt" Childress; her granddaughter Hannah Ingold; and her siblings, Mary Alice Welcher, Robert Hinkston and Thomas Hinkston.
She is survived by: her children, Kay, Don Alexander of Clarksville, Pam, Bill Smith of Russellville, Bubba Childress of Atkins and Kelly Childress of Russellville; her grandchildren, Leah (Jordan Rose), Jayme Childress, Jordan Childress, Seth (Emily Alexander) and Kelsey (Reed Alvey); her great grandchildren, Alex, Jake, Sadie, Riot, Olivia, Ashlynn, Paisley, Rhett, Leilani and Kailana; and her brother Kenneth.
