Lois McNeese Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lois McNeese of Atkins, Arkansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lois left this world on January 20, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Verlon Osburn and Rhoda Mason Osburn; her husband Carl McNeese, Sr.; her siblings, Eunice Rhinehart, Walter Osburn, William Osburn, Dween "Peanut" Osburn, Raymond Osburn, Patricia Taggert and Ella Stacey; her grandson Carl McNeese III; and her son-in-law Josh "Opie" VanHunnick.

She is survived by: her children, Lois (Travis Kimbriel), Mickel McNeese of Atkins, Tina (Chad Wray), Carla McNeese of Russellville, Carl (Heather McNeese), James (Angie McNeese), Jessie McNeese of Atkins, John McNeese of Russellville and Cole McNeese (Tiffany); and her sisters, Kathy (Sammy Litsey) and Rita (Denny Tucker). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lemley Chapel (1401 N Church St, Atkins, AR 72823). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
