Linda Roper Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2024, at the age of 77, Linda Roper (Atkins, Arkansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Linda farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Linda is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Orene Whitesides Henderson and Jessie Earl Henderson; her husband John Paul Roper; her sisters, Earlene Peak and Jeanene Markham; and her granddaughter Lauren Elizabeth Papasan.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kellie Van Es and Karen Cook; and her grandchildren, Jessie Van Es, A. J. Van Es, Kennedy Cook and Mitch Cook.
