He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ella Etta (Kendrick) and Arthur Hubert Rackley; his wife Sharon Rackley; his children, Terry Murray (David) and David Rackley (Rhonda); his grandson Logan Rackley; his stepchildren, Scott McLain (Cindy), Kelly Slayden (Royce) and Stacey Crigger; and his stepgrandchildren, Sumner McLain, Eric McLain, Alexa McLain, Celia Slayden McDonald, Carly Slayden Carbine, Jordan Slayden and Brady Crigger. He was also cherished by 9 step great grandchildren as well as many nephews and nieces.
