She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Murdoch and Ann Murdoch (Leggett); and her sister Edna Moos. She is survived by: her husband Howard Samuel Young; her children, Howard Scott, Ann Edwards (David) of Fort Smith, Susan Bradberry (Bobby) of Stuttgart, Melissa Clark (Gary) of Ohio and Sammye Quattlebaum (Storm) of Russellville; her grandchildren, Tyler, Leah England, Julie Edwards, Elizabeth Alvarenga, Sarah Heird, Elyse Quattlebaum, Lauren, Maddie and Emily Clark; her great grandchildren, Thomas, Jane England, William, Wesley Alvarenga and Tucker Heird; and her brother Charles Murdoch.
