She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobert Blackwell and Ruthie Edith Rainwater Blackwell; and her brothers, Raymond Blackwell and William Blackwell, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Joe Barefield; her son Alvin Blackwell; and her sisters-in-law, Melinda Blackwell and Murielene Blackwell Rains. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
