He is survived by: his significant other Maribeth Jackson Durbin; his son Phil Merriott of Jonesboro; his siblings-in-law, Bill and Donna Jackson; his niece Tia Smith (Eric); his nephew Chance Jackson; his uncle B. L. Chambliss; his aunt Von Jackson; his cousins, June Combs, Gary Jackson, Larry Jackson, Kay Jones, Rita Dutton, Kim Randolph, Duane Jackson, Myron Jackson, Terri Brooksher, Sherry Evans, Carol Wadley, Mary Brannon and Craig Chambliss; and his pet Graycie. He is also survived by other extended family members and close friends.
