He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlie William and Marie Alfreida Wolff Kluck; his brother Homer; his wife Margie Kluck; his children, Sharon Kluck Townsend (John Townsend) and Carl Wesley Kluck, Jr. (Debbie Hicks Kluck); his grandchildren, Kristin Townsend Lavender (Ryan Lavender), Sean Townsend (Laura Sansom Townsend) and Jennifer Kluck Hopkins (Seth Hopkins); his great grandchildren, Megan Lavender, Sydney Lavender, Clara Townsend, Audrey Townsend, Carli Hopkins and Mackenzie Hopkins; and his sister Lois Kluck Coker. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
