She was predeceased by: her mothers, Delphine Bass and Gladys Bass; her husband Donald Earnest; her sisters, Madonna Turner and Ann Bowers; and her grandson Daniel Shuffield.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Shuffield,; her son-in-law Mitchell Shuffield, Sr.; her grandson Matthew Shuffield; her brother Kenneth Bass; and her siblings-in-law, Claudette Bass of North Carolina and Billy Bowers of Oklahoma. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
