He was predeceased by: his parents, Deborah Moreland Boyles and Robert Edward Boyles; his grandparents, William, Elease Moreland, John and Beatrice Boyles; his aunts, Patricia Powell and Barbara Ann Moreland; his uncle John Boyles (Bo); and his cousin Viveca Moreland.

He is survived by: his son Malique Sherod Boyles of Germany; his siblings, Shannon Moreland (TaJuan) of Cape, Girradeau, Chad Boyles of San Diego, CA., Patricia Boyles and Megan Goode; his uncles, Hugh Moreland (Yvvone) of Ashdown, AR and William David Moreland (Rhonda) of Compton, CA; his nieces and nephews, Ardesha Chrell Moreland, Navaya Moreland, Austin and Ayden Moreland; his great-nieces, Logan Ryanne and Audri Rosalee Alexander; and his cousins, Davina, Tana, Aaron, David Jr. Moreland, Aja and Echantra Reed.
