With heavy hearts, we announce the death of LaVeda Joy Spigner Rosenbaum of Ashdown, Arkansas, born in Ben Lomond, Arkansas, who passed away on December 27, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Spigner and Ira Spigner; her husband George Lynn Rosenbaum; her daughter Judy Lynn Rosenbaum Sloan; her grandson Matthew Glynn Rosenbaum; and her siblings, Carl, Bud, Eunice and Wanda Jean Joyce.
She is survived by: her daughter Janice; her son-in-law Paul Thomason of Slidell, Louisiana; her son Glenn; her children-in-law, Allie Rosenbaum of Ashdown, Arkansas and Mike Sloan of Talco, Texas; her grandchildren, Chase Sloan (Jennifer), Christopher Rosenbaum (Christina), Amy Thomason Bradshaw (Shawn) and Jillian Sloan Norfleet (Jeff); and her great grandchildren, Reno, Jessi, Kamden, Annaliza, Jubilee, Hezekiah, Aubree, Slade, Anna and Scarlett.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Madden Funeral Home - Ashdown (371 N 3rd St, Ashdown, AR 71822). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Ashdown Cemetery (935 N Corbin St, Ashdown, AR 71822).
