He is survived by: his children, Richie Nelson (Jody) of Lizella, Michael Nelson (Sherri) of Griffin and Tamara Ison (Greg) of Griffin; his stepdaughters, Paula Knowles (Ryan) of Gordon, Lisa Riner (Chad) of Dublin and Charlotte Harrison of Irwinton; his brothers, Henry Lamar Nelson (Phyllis) of McIntyre and Hilton Nelson (Jeanette) of Milledgeville; his sister-in-law Gail Nelson; and his grandchildren, Morgan, Hannah, Madison, Evan, Emma, Heath, Britney, Caleb, Carlie and Kaitlynn.
