It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Junior Smith of Ashdown, Arkansas, born in Prescott, Arkansas, who passed away on November 22, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Denver Dolphus and Margie Louise Smith (Taylor); his son Joe Denver Smith; his siblings, Dean Smith and Kaye Jameson; his father-in-law Robert Wilson Sr.; and his sister-in-law Carmen Smith.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Tori, Laikyn and Ressie; his wife Venita Smith; his daughter Taylor Haggins (Rickey); his stepsons, Zane Butler (Dara) and Jon Butler (Kris); his daughters, Candace Smith (Jeremy) and Lela Conrad (Matthew); his grandchildren, Bentley Alexander, Laynie Horn, Carson Horn, Benjamin Giest and Tabitha Patrick; his great grandchildren, Lorilei Patrick and Haygen Geist; his siblings, Joe Don Smith, Alice Skinner (Gene) and Watson Smith; his mother-in-law Rosie Wilson; his siblings-in-law, Robert Wilson (Diane) and Janice Barton (Tom); his daughter-in-law Kim Smith; and his close friends, Lauren Abney, Darrell and Nancy Coker. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
